Bringing glamour to the highlands of Iceland

J&B came over to Iceland last summer to jet of in to the highlands in Iceland. Þórsmörk to be specific. This particular place, is very popular for so many reasons. It’s otherworldly landscape and old folk tales are in part to blame, but also it’s privacy and well stocked campgrounds play a part in it as well.

When I was young, my grandparents took me there sometimes in the weekends as my grandpa was one of the original safari bus driver back in the days. I have very little memory of these trips, which made J&B bringing me a long for their journey even more special. It was my first time back there since being a kid so I was incredibly grateful for getting this opportunity.

For the ceremony, Iceland’s darling Lay Low sang and played acoustic guitar in a canyon, abandoned by all but J&B and us. Pink Iceland’s Heiðrún set up a whiskey picnic and pastor Axel officiated the beautiful ceremony.

It was an absolute honor to trek along side these beautiful humans to this special place and I’lll never forget it.
